We are delighted to confirm that our hybrid serviced apartment, retail and residential scheme in East London has received planning approval under delegated powers from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Working with the Knight Frank planning team and Montagu Evans heritage advisors, the approval follows sensitive negotiation with design and conservation officers.
The proposals remodel an existing commercial building to create 64 apartments incorporating a roof top extension and new façade. These significant improvements will substantially improve the buildings visual contribution to the Myrdle Street Conservation Area. The neighbouring residential block is extended upwards by two storeys providing three penthouse apartments within walking distance of the City.
Both projects will be constructed concurrently with work due to start in early 2022.
