Aros are delighted to confirm that work has now commenced on site to deliver a 137 bed Premier Inn alongside a new church for the Lambeth Mission and St Mary's Church.
Located on the corner of Lambeth Walk, close to Waterloo Station, the scheme involves the demolition of a 1950’s church complex and its wholesale replacement with a new build, mixed use development. Extending to 11 storeys above ground, the hotel occupies a compact footprint with public spaces at basement and ground floor level. The new church includes a worship space, meeting and function rooms and a café at ground floor level and is characterised by a contemporary façade design containing multiple brick arches.
Aros are delighted to be working with Citygrove Securities plc and HG Construction on the delivery of the project which is due to open to the public in Q3 2023.
