Since being appointed as Lead Architect in November 2022, Aros Architects have been creating London's most anticipated new luxury hotel, due to open in 2026.

The conversion of Admiralty Arch, a Grade I listed monument to Queen Victoria located at the end of The Mall, is a unique opportunity to create a 5* hotel in an unrivalled location with views of The Royal Parks, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. Working closely with design and heritage officers at Westminster City Council, we have made sensitive alterations to originally approved plans to meet the aspirations of the ownership team. In parallel with the new design works, Aros have led the technical delivery of the construction and fit out works on site. This has brought together input from multiple interior designers, engineers, acousticians, fire and MEP consultants all whilst maximising the inherent quality and unique detail contained within the historic fabric of the building.

The hotel will provide intimate and luxurious accommodation behind the monumental facades whilst also creating a new banqueting space and spa located beneath The Mall. Two destination restaurants will be run by Michelin Starred chefs, Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud, with the hotel being managed under the expert guidance of Guillaume Marly FIH MI.
