We have submitted a planning application for a mixed-use development in Douglas, Isle of Man, one of the largest and most important brownfield sites on the Island.

The proposals include, 85 apartments with vehicle and cycle parking; 25,000sqft of new office space, a multi-screen boutique cinema; retail units; restaurants and food hall; bus information centre; bus drivers welfare centre; public WCs and indoor seating area; new bus stands; landscaping works to improve the quality of the public realm.

Our scheme design seeks to respond appropriately to the importance of the site through a landmark building of high architectural quality. The various building uses across the scheme are celebrated and expressed in their elevational treatments, and unified through the use of a consistent material palette. Traditional, robust materials are used in a manner to compliment the surrounding buildings of heritage interest.
