We are delighted to have achieved Planning Consent from Islington Council under delegated powers for our client, APPERLY ESTATES LIMITED, for the structural, back-to-frame refurbishment and re-cladding of this office building in the heart of Clerkenwell.
The greenest building is the one that already exists, and we target BREEAM Excellent and other green-building benchmarks. With office uses on upper floors, and the addition of a new fourth floor top level with set-back terraces the scheme also offers flexible Class E units at ground level to serve and support the tenants and local community.
We have conducted in-depth local research for the new replacement brickwork elevations, to enable it to neatly blend-in with neighbouring characterful, stock materials. Together with enhanced thermal performance; new end-of-trip facilities and a vastly improved core layout.
